TORRE ISOZAKI, MILANO / Inspired by Constantin Brancusi’s Endless Column, the Isozaki Tower is set to become one of the city’s iconic symbols. Designed by the Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, with the Italian architect Andrea Maffei, the skyscraper soars over the new CityLife district.
The Isozaki Tower can accommodate up to 3,800 people and with fifty floors is the tallest skyscraper in Italy and the building with highest occupied floor (at 207 m).
Drytech designed the waterproofing for all the structures in the project below the water table, namely 113 metres above sea level. The fire-fighting water tanks, underground utility pipelines, multi-duct conduits and shafts have therefore been constructed using the White Tank System.
